With heavy hearts, we share the news that Colleen Grace Hayes of Battle Creek, Michigan, a loving soul born in Detroit, Michigan, peacefully passed away on October 9, 2023, at the age of 66. As we reflect on her life, let us come together to offer our heartfelt condolences and support to her bereaved family.
Colleen was preceded in death by her dear parents, Bradley Anderson and Jeanette Anderson, her beloved sister Marsha Anderson, her sister-in-law Ruthie Gorney, and her close friend Keith Alvin Hayes. Their memories will forever be cherished.
Left to cherish Colleen’s legacy are her cherished children, Chuck Kohler Jr. (Cassie) of Battle Creek, Chris Kohler of Augusta, and Candi Kohler of Battle Creek. Additionally, she is survived by her caring siblings, Dave Gorney, Kathleen Addison (Donald), and Ileen Buruca-Rodriguez. An exceptional woman, Colleen is also survived by seven adoring grandchildren, two precious great-grandchildren, and a vast extended family.
