While we grieve this loss, let us also celebrate the beautiful legacy he leaves behind.
Donald Alvin Bailey was born to Blanche and Frederick Bailey and grew up alongside his loving sisters, Verne Richardson and Bernice. Through the years, he formed deep bonds with his brothers-in-law, Bill Richardson and Bob Crow. Although we mourn their absence, let us find solace in the cherished memories they created together.
Throughout his life, Donald found great joy in the companionship of his beloved wife, Judy Bailey (Kresl). Together, they built a life filled with love, compassion, and unwavering devotion. Their journey was blessed with the presence of their children: Tom Bailey, Diane Kell, Brent Bailey, and Scott Bailey. This family, bound by an unbreakable bond, shares an immeasurable loss in their patriarch’s departure.
A source of immense pride and joy, Donald was the adoring grandfather of Cory Campbell, Ben Campbell, Colleen Bailey-Knapke, and Danny Bailey. Each grandchild holds treasured memories of their times together, and the impact Donald had on their lives will forever be felt. Welcoming the next generation into the world of family love, he relished his role as a great grandfather to Peter Joseph (PJ), Margaret (Maggie), and Robert Bailey-Knapke (Baby Bobby). Their presence brought him immeasurable happiness, and his spirit will continue to watch over them.
