It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to our beloved Doris Ann Brown of Gallipolis, Ohio. Doris was born in Crown City, Ohio and left this world at the age of 88 on September 24, 2023. During this difficult time, we come together to express our sympathy and support for the family of Doris Ann Brown.Doris was preceded in death by her loving parents, Howard Shuler and Mildred Gertrude Hardway (Williams), as well as her adoring husband Gerald Richard Brown. She was also preceded by her dear brothers, Charles Hardway and Michael Hardway, and her caring siblings-in-law, Carroll Brown and Eleanor Brown.Doris is survived by her dear sister Karen Black (Daniel) of Cleveland, OH., and her loving daughters, Sandra Bledsoe of Gallipolis and Cynthia Fellure of Gallipolis. She will forever be remembered by her cherished grandchildren, Amber Fellure of Gallipolis and Travis Fellure (Stacy) of Patriot, and her precious great grandchildren, Emmy, Clint, Tucker, Boone, and Everett Fellure. Doris is also survived by her loving sister-in-law Jane Gates Geiger (Jeff), as well as several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
We invite you to join us in honoring Doris Ann Brown during the visitation on Saturday, September 30th, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Grace Methodist Church located at 600 2nd Ave, Gallipolis, OH 45631. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at the same location at 1:00 PM.In this time of remembrance, we kindly request that instead of flowers or gifts, memorial donations be made in Ann’s memory to the Gallia County Genealogical Society at P.O. Box 1007, Gallipolis, OH 45631, or to Grace Methodist Church at 600 2nd Ave, Gallipolis, OH 45631.
