It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James L. Busby, a beloved resident of Nashville, Tennessee, originally from Megargel, Texas. Our condolences go out to his family during this difficult time.James was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Audra DeLoris Busby. He leaves behind a legacy of love through his children: Jeanne Lafferty of Waco, TX, Icy Sanders (Ken) of Guntersville, AL, Jim Lee Busby (Peggy) of Carrollton, TX, and John (Chanda) of Chattanooga, TN. His grandchildren, Troy Lafferty, Amy Susnis, Hunter Busby, and Aubrey Busby, hold fond memories of their beloved grandfather. Furthermore, he is survived by two great-grandchildren.

We invite you to join us in paying your respects on Friday, October 6th, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at the Woodbine Funeral Home-Hickory Chapel (5852 Nolensville Pk, Nashville, TN 37211). Following the visitation, a funeral service will commence at 12:00 PM at the same location.
