James Michael Robinson, a beloved son, has left this world unexpectedly, leaving a void in the hearts of those who loved him. Born in Coatesville, he was a resident of Gap, PA, where he resided until his passing on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at 53. His mother, Pamela Forbes Robinson of Millsboro, DE, and the late James C. Robinson held him dear to their hearts.

Growing up in the area, James attended Pequea Valley High School and graduated in 1988. His passion for learning led him to pursue further education at Penn College of Technology, where he obtained an associate degree in Electrical Technology. Throughout his life, he utilized his knowledge and skills as an Electrician, dedicating himself to BJ Baldwin Electric and later with Shelton Associates Inc.

James was a member of Howell Masonic Lodge #405, an affiliation that held great significance in his life. His dedication to his craft was admirable, but it was his love for his family that truly defined him. In his younger years, he excelled in sports, particularly baseball and soccer. However, when his children came into the picture and began their own athletic journeys, his focus shifted. Supporting their endeavors became his purpose, bringing him immense joy until his final day.

The ocean held a special place in James’ heart, having created cherished memories from his early years. Family vacations to OBX allowed him to cultivate a deep love for fishing, a passion that he passed down to his children, who also grew to adore the sport. James was a hardworking man, serving as a pillar of strength for his family, especially his children, who meant the world to him.

In addition to his mother, James leaves behind two children, James Donald “JD” Robinson of Millersville, PA, and Riley Elizabeth Robinson of Lancaster. He was once married to Christina Herr Robinson of Lancaster, who also mourns his passing. Your departure has left a void that can never be filled, and your loved ones will forever carry the memories of your love and kindness in their hearts.

Funeral services to honor James’ life will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at 6:00 PM at the Wilde Funeral Home in Parkesburg, PA. Prior to the service, a visitation and viewing will take place from 4:00 PM. The interment will be a private affair, allowing those closest to him to find solace in their own personal way.

During this difficult time, let us find comfort in the cherished memories we hold of James and remember him for the love he shared. Though we grieve his loss, we can take solace in the hope that one day, we will be reunited with him. Until then, may we hold tight to his memory and may his soul find eternal peace.
