It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Joel Baldwin Gee Jr., a beloved member of the Kinzers community. Joel peacefully departed from this world on Saturday, September 30, 2023, in the comfort of his own home.
Born in the heart of West Chester, PA, Joel was the cherished son of Joel Gee Sr., of Denver, PA, and the late Rebecca Fellenbaum Gee. His warm presence and affectionate spirit touched the lives of all who knew him.
Joel was a graduate of Octorara High School, class of 1984. Throughout his career, he contributed his skills and loyalty to the field of commercial construction, where he excelled as a Foreman with Lobar, Inc. His dedication and commitment were unparalleled.
Beyond his professional achievements, Joel held a special place in his heart for his family. Left to treasure his memory are his loving daughters, Amanda (James) Schmidt of Mohnton, PA, and Charlee (Alex) Miller of Highland Lakes, NJ. Joel’s legacy lives on through his adored granddaughters, Savannah Brown and Kirbee Schmidt, as well as his cherished granddogs. He is also survived by his beloved sister, Marcella A. Crammer of Mountville, PA.
In this time of mourning, we invite you to join us in expressing our condolences and sharing the weight of this loss. Our hearts go out to everyone affected by this loss, and we offer strength and comfort during this difficult period.
Funeral services will be held privately, allowing the family to honor and commemorate Joel’s life in a more intimate setting. Should you wish to honor his memory, we kindly request memorial donations to the American Cancer Society. By doing so, we can continue Joel’s commitment to supporting important research and raising awareness about this relentless disease.
The Wilde Funeral Home of Parkesburg has been entrusted with the delicate arrangements during this trying time.
