In this moment of grief, we unite to offer our deepest sympathies and support to those who are left behind.
Ray’s journey was guided by the love and guidance of his parents, Gilbert Warnes and Elsie Warnes (Petroskey). As we bid farewell to Ray, we hold in our hearts the cherished memories of his devoted wife, Elizabeth Flaska (Betty), their children, Trevor and Tricia Suchland (Dave), and his grandchildren, Gage, Christian, Drew, Mercedes, and Mya. In their time of mourning, may they find solace and strength in the fond memories they shared together.
Let us remember that Ray’s life extended far beyond his immediate family. He is also survived by numerous sisters, brothers, cousins, nieces, and nephews, all of whom were touched by his presence and will forever cherish his memory.
As we gather to honor Ray’s life, a graveside service will take place on Saturday, October 28th, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the tranquil St. Philip Neri Cemetery in Empire, MI. Let us come together, offering our love and support, as we lay Ray to rest, knowing that he will forever be a part of the fabric of our lives.
In remembrance of Ray, for those who wish to express their condolences in a tangible way, memorial contributions may be directed to the St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. By giving from our hearts, we not only honor Ray’s spirit but also create a lasting legacy of kindness and compassion.
May we find comfort in the words of solace, knowing that Ray Warnes’ soul will forever be embraced by the loving arms of eternity. Though his physical presence may be missed, his spirit will continue to shine brightly, guiding us through the darkness and reminding us of the beauty of a life well-lived.
