Sandra Dee Potts Has Passed Away – Obituaries

The dance of life is unpredictable. Sometimes it waltzes us through joyful moments, and other times, it brings us to a sudden, mournful halt. The sudden departure of Sandra Dee Potts from this world on September 15, 2023, has left us heartbroken. Born and raised in Columbus, Indiana, Sandra had enriched the lives of many around her with her kindness and infectious spirit. At only 49, her passing seems untimely, and the void she leaves is profound.

Though she’s no longer with us, the memories of her laughter, warmth, and love persist. She now joins her parents, Charles Blaine and Sheila Donn Roy Anthony; her dear son, Dakota Brinker; and her sister-in-law, Trish Anthony.

Sandra’s legacy continues through her loving husband, Ronald L. Potts, and her children: Jacob Brinker (and spouse Mercedes Childers), Haley Potts, Katie Anthony (and husband Stephen), and Kimberly Potts. Her siblings: Charles Anthony, Jeff Anthony (with his wife Bettye), and Cindy Anthony also remember her with love and deep affection. Sandra’s joy was magnified when she became a grandmother, and she doted on her grandchildren, Evelyn Anthony, Bo Potts, and Maddie Potts. Additionally, her close friend, Lisa Newby, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins, carry forth the torch of her memory.
