Shawn Andrea Wylie Obituary (2023) Lancaster, Pennsylvania

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Shawn Andrea Wylie of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Surrounded by the love of her family and friends, Shawn peacefully left this world on September 28, 2023, at the age of 60. While we mourn her loss, we find comfort in the memories we shared with her.Shawn was preceded in death by her loving parents, Kenneth L. Wylie and Elsie Hammond Wylie. She is survived by her cherished children, Joseph L. Wylie of Lancaster and Aariane C. Wylie of Columbia. In addition, Shawn leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Malaysia A. Stevens, Kylis V. Wylie-Smith, and Kayla R. Wylie-Smith. She is also survived by her dear siblings, Kenneth L. Wylie (Tonya) of Coatesville, Tracie L. Wylie, and Desiree E. Wylie (Jerome Moss) of Coatesville.Shawn’s memory will forever be treasured in the hearts of her nieces and nephews, Kenneth Wylie, Jr., Karl Wylie, Kordan Wylie, Kenneth Torres, Jr., and Jessica E. Torres. She will also be remembered by her caring aunts and uncles, Alice Hammond, Charles Hammond, Jr., Dorothy Hammond, Diane Webb, Minnie McKay, Johnnie Wylie, and Esdwel Lee. Among her circle of friends, Wanda Parker and Jeanne Aerie-Anderson (Becky) held a special place in Shawn’s heart. Additionally, Shawn leaves behind numerous cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.A time to remember and honor Shawn’s life will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 9:00 AM. The viewing will take place at the Emmett Golden Hunt Memorial Chapel located at 427 E Lincoln Hwy, Coatesville, PA 19320. Following the viewing, a funeral service will commence at the same location at 11:00 AM. As a respectful gesture, we kindly request adhering to COVID safety protocols during the events.
