Willie Dean Smith, a beloved soul, was preceded in death by her adoring husband, Joseph C. Harris, her cherished daughter, Jan Harris, and her dear parents, Walter and Ada Smith. She was also predeceased by her beloved siblings, Ed, Norman, Lena, and Alberta. As we reflect on her life, we find solace in the cherished memories we hold dear.
Leaving a profound and lasting impact, Willie Dean Smith is survived by her loving daughter, Patricia McGuire, and her devoted grandchildren, Robert McGuire and April Sager. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and warmth. In addition to her immediate family, she is also survived by five great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews who were blessed to have had her presence in their lives.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 4th, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and on Thursday, October 5th, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. We encourage all who wish to pay their respects and offer solace to attend these visitation hours.
A heartfelt funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 5th, 2023, at 11:00 AM. We will gather at the Crieve Hall Church of Christ (4806 Trousdale Dr, Nashville, TN 37220) to celebrate and honor the beautiful life of Willie Dean Smith. It is within the walls of this sacred space that we will find solace and comfort as we bid our final farewells.
